Dudley Bienvenu, LCSW, BCPCC
Founder and Director of Bienvenu Counseling Services, Dudley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor, and Licensed Minister with over 37 years and over 35,000 hours of counseling experience. Having received both a BS in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University, his specialty areas include individual psychotherapy, marriage counseling, and substance abuse. In addition to providing standard individual and couple counseling, Dudley offers specialized 3-day intensives for couples and individuals who want or need rapid resolution to problems and issues, as well as individual psychotherapy multiple times per week when requested. Dudley has authored four books, created six DVD Small Group Studies, and conducts marriage conferences and enrichment seminars thru local churches and other venues on a regular basis. A native of Southwest Louisiana, he and his wife have been married for 37 years with two daughters and four grandchildren.
Jere Miles, LCSW, BCPCC
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor and a skilled family therapist of over 30 years, Jere specializes in working with young children, adolescents & their families. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and her Masters in Social Work from LSU. Jere’s vast amount of training includes Inner Healing through Ashland Theological Seminary; Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Recall Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Family and Marital Therapy. Her Chaplain training in Critical Incident Stress Management, PTSD, Trauma, Grief & Loss, Human Trafficking, Divorce, Depression, Suicide, Disaster Relief, Death Notification and Counseling, Confidentiality, Ethics & Law have helped her assist a variety of clients during her over 12 years with BCS.
When Jere isn’t working, she enjoys providing chaplain/counseling services at a high school after-school program, leading women’s bible studies, and teaching discipleship and kids’ ministry classes. One of Jere’s other hobbies includes editing her husband’s books. She has been married over 35 years and is a proud mother and grandmother.
Carol Peirce, LPC, BCPCC
Carol Peirce, MA, LPC
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20+ years of experience, Carol has a heart for helping people overcome the obstacles, traumas, and patterns that continue to hold them back from living their life to the fullest. She received her undergraduate degree in Sociology from LSU and her MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Virginia. Her specialty areas include trauma recovery, marriage/couples counseling, anxiety, and codependency/boundary issues. She is Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an approach that helps couples form a more secure emotional bond, which results in stronger relationships and improved communication. Carol has also facilitated many professional EFT trainings for counselors in Louisiana and is a Founding Member of the Louisiana EFT Community (www.iceeft.com). At their local church Carol and her husband of 40+ years have led Marriage Communication classes, retreats, seminars, and are the Lead Mentor Couple in the Marriage Mentoring program.
For trauma recovery Carol has extensive training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a structured therapy that accesses and resolves traumatic memories and experiences at their source (www.EMDR.com). Barry Bouillion Jr., MA, LPC, LMFT
Barry is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He is a United States Marine Veteran. During his time in service, he served in various leadership roles and led his Marines in difficult situations. He learned to overcome adversity by facing his own challenges and by committing himself to a process of personal growth and development. He developed a desire to foster that same spirit in those he led. That desire to walk with others through difficult terrain and be a part of their personal growth and development led him into the field of counseling. Barry is trained in a number of areas of counseling. He does trauma recovery work with all populations, but has special interest in working with veterans and first responders. His primary mode of trauma therapy is ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), both experiential therapies. He does addiction recovery work and provides support and guidance to family members who have loved ones battling addiction. He has worked alongside addiction medicine doctors and in Inpatient and Outpatient settings. Dawn is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont University in Atlanta Georgia. She specializes in working with women from all ages and stages of life dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, codependency, boundary problems, etc. She has special interest working with spouses of addiction, infidelity, betrayal, PTSD, military/veteran, and first responders. Dawn is trained in multiple modes of therapy to include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Intimacy Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
