Founded by Dudley Bienvenu and serving Acadiana since 1990, Bienvenu Counseling Services (BCS) is a 501c nonprofit Christian organization whose mission is to strengthen and support individuals, marriages, and families through professional Christian counseling, enrichment seminars, and educational resources. In May of 2026, Kristy Suire was named Chief Executive Officer, bringing a renewed vision and passion for expanding the organization's impact. Under her leadership, BCS introduced Better Acadiana, a warm and welcoming resource hub designed to support families walking alongside a loved one navigating mental illness or addiction.
