Kristy Suire is a Licensed Christian Counselor with over 20 years of experience serving individuals and families in the Acadiana area. She holds a bachelor’s degree from LSU in Family, Child, and Consumer Sciences with a minor in Sociology, and a master’s degree in Christian Counseling, along with certification in Temperament Therapy.
After taking time away from private practice, Kristy felt called back to the work where she has always been most effective-walking alongside others in the counseling setting. She is passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, practical guidance, and a faith-based perspective.
Kristy’s approach focuses on understanding each individual’s unique temperament and life experiences, creating a safe and supportive space for healing, growth, and renewed direction.
Kristy’s counseling focus centers on supporting families with loved ones who are struggling with addiction or navigating recovery. She is especially passionate about working with women, college-aged young women, and high school girls facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, codependency, and trauma.
In addition, Kristy brings personal experience to her work as an adoptive parent. Alongside her husband, Howard, she has adopted three children and is available to counsel and support adoptive families through their unique journeys.
